The soul

The power source of your being

The soul, many people know it to mean the “core” or the very essence of something, the soul is what makes something be what it is.

But, we aren’t going to be talking about things today, we are going to be talking about you, me, and everyone else.

Before we go ahead, is it not interesting that in all of science and technology, there has been absolutely no way of making life, or of recreating the mind of a person?

People have tried for as long as technology has existed to create the essence of life, to make something with intelligence, be it the robots of Davinci, or the AI of today, but the very thing that stops all of this from being a person, is the soul. Would a robot ever be a person? I think we are in-fact spiritual beings, a conscious, yes we are skin and bone, muscle and blood, a physical organic body, but we run on synapses, powered by electricity, but how is all of this coincidence possible? Our brain is inconceivable, we cannot recreate it. Yet if you have a brain with no life, then what use is it, and why can’t we just make it live? What makes it alive, what makes it you?

I would say, that the very thing powering our mind and brain is the soul, there could be an argument that animals also have a powered brain, and yes, while they do live, breathe, and have emotions too, the soul is the separating factor between us and them. We have an understanding of the world around us, concepts of time, and death, albeit very limited.

But I say that is the soul.

I think the soul is what makes you uniquely you, it is what defines you as a person.
